Alrighty... so I haven't written in awhile so I have
a few things to update you on before I get to the main
point of this blog being written.
First.... God is so amazing and when you do as He says
He totally rewards and blesses you.
So, I'm assuming you all know about my job issue... how I'm
working with the school age kids because I lost my position
in the toddler room, but the toddler room is where I REALLY
want to be. Leaving that toddler room was one of the hardest
things. I got SO attached to those little kids and then just
didn't see them anymore. It broke my heart. But, amongst the
heartache, I felt that God put me in the school age room for a
reason. Those kids need direction, and discipline, and love.
I'm also assuming you all know about how I am doing online classes
next semester and wanted to find a second job to save money.
Well, on Monday, Joanne (the teacher in the toddler room) told me that
a lady in their room is possibly quiting and they would love to have
me back. The greatest part.... it's in the morning... so I could
do BOTH classrooms!!!!!!!!! I can shower these kids with love ALL
day long and get paid pretty well for it. I am SO stoked. This
just shows how much God loves me and is willing to provide for
me if I'll just let Him and if I'll just obey what He tells me to do.
Wednesday was the Life Group Thanksgiving. SUPER fun. I love those
women SO much. I can't believe I have gone for so long without
knowing these ladies. They are exactly who I need around me
right now in life. I just love love love them. We played a game
called "Telephone Pictionary" which I won't take time to explain
but was ridiculously funny.
Thursday was actual Thanksgiving with the fam fam. We took family
pics which were a lot more civil than I expected. That night I
hung out with Andrea, my sis, and Amanda. That was fun.
Then today.......... I didn't go shopping... I didn't get great
deals... I didn't work... or go to school... but I received the
best birthday present ever. (Yes, over a month late... but
SO worth the wait)
This here present was from Chelsey Davis. It was 9 cd's. Hand made
mix cd's from the 90s. Along with a card that said really nice
things about me and a really amazing interpretation of my
future tattoo. What I loved most about this gift?
That it was all MADE. Not bought. This sounds cliche but it
really does mean a LOT to me when someone makes me something.
It means they were thinking enough about me to make me
something crazy cool.
I am so excited. I've gotten through one cd so far and LOVED
every single song. And giggled a little because I remember
when I was first obsessed with these songs.
I LOVE it! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
